MATTHEWS, N.C. — A Silver Alert has been issued for missing endangered 64-year-old Alemseghed Habtemariam. He is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment and needs medication regularly, officials say.
Mecklenburg County officials say Habtemariam was last seen the morning of Tuesday, March 9th wearing a wine colored hoodie, black beanie cap, and khaki pants.
He is described as a Black man, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 126 pounds, with a bald head, white beard, and brown eyes.
Officials say Habtemariam walks with a cane and has a noticeable limp.
