
CHARLOTTE, N.C.– The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation in the 1300 block of North Hoskins Road in Northwest Charlotte.
Police received an assault with a deadly weapon call for service at 4:44 a.m. Saturday. A man with gunshot wounds was dropped off at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center. The man was pronounced dead at 6:20 a.m. at the hospital by medical staff.
Around 7:45 a.m. officers located the original crime scene on North Hoskins Street and found another man dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
The names of the victims will be released upon family notification.
Police say that preliminary evidence indicates that the incidents are related.
This is an ongoing, active investigation.
