CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) β€” North Carolina has spent the past two seasons trying to overcome personnel losses that forced coach Roy Williams to keep reshaping the way his team played.

The Tar Heels shouldn’t have that problem this year, not with replenished perimeter depth that has them equipped for a run at the Atlantic Coast Conference title.

Junior Marcus Paige says this year’s team is capable of a Final Four run, while junior J.P. Tokoto says the improved depth will allow the players to play even more aggressively.

The Tar Heels return an all-ACC performer in Paige, to go with Tokoto, junior Brice Johnson and slimmed-down sophomore big man Kennedy Meeks. They have also added three McDonald’s All-American freshmen, led by 6-foot-8 forward Justin Jackson.
