Police Open Investigation After A Man Was Shot And Killed In Salisbury

SALISBURY, N.C. — Officers with the Salisbury Police Department say a man was shot and killed on Sunday.

Officers say they arrived at the scene of the shooting on Wilson Road in Salisbury to find their victim, 32-year-old Grover Jones Jr., suffering from a gunshot wound.

Jones was taken to Novant Health Rowan Medical Center where he later died, according to a news release.

The investigation into this case remains active and ongoing.
