Massive Fire Destroys Boiling Springs Restaurant

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. — A Boiling Springs restaurant has closed until further notice due to damages caused by a massive fire that happened early Sunday.

Boiling Springs Fire & Rescue along with Shanghai Fire and Rescue and Number 7 Fire Department were dispatched around 1:20 a.m. to a commercial fire at Rooster’s Bar and Grill on East College Ave. When firefighters arrived, they located fire coming through the roof.

The Cliffside Fire and Rescue also assisted with the fire ground operations. Officials were able to contain the fire and no injuries were reported.

“Rooster’s Bar & Grill suffered a huge tragedy last night,” a Facebook post from the restaurant said. “Due to the extensive amount of damage caused by the fire, we will be closed until further notice.”

The restaurant started their post stating that they were writing the message with a heavy heart and ended their statement thanking the community.

“We want to thank the community for all the love and support that has been shown since we opened our doors , and we ask that everyone keep us in your prayers during this difficult time for us,” the post said.
