CHARLOTTE, N.C. (News Release) — Mecklenburg County is launching the Restore Our Earth Passport public awareness campaign April 1 through the end of the month to showcase environmental sites and celebrate Earth Day.
Earth Day (April 22) is an annual event to celebrate the planet’s environment and raise public awareness about pollution. In Mecklenburg County we’re not satisfied with one day. We plan to celebrate for the entire month of April and have partnered with national organizers on the Restore Our Earth initiative.
