CHARLOTTE, N.C.– One person was shot Sunday night in West Charlotte.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to the shooting in the 1200 block of Effingham Road around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to Medic, one person was transported to Carolinas Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
No further information has been released at this time.
