Two Men and Juvenile Facing Charges In East Charlotte Robbery

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police arrested two men and a juvenile for an armed robbery that happened in east Charlotte. 

Officers responded to a call on Albemarle Road in reference to the Sam’s Mart being robbed on Monday evening. 

The clerk told officers that two men entered the store, pointed a gun at him and demanded money.  The suspects were last seen running from the business. 

Another officer responding to the scene noticed a suspect running away from the business.  The suspect was taken into custody after a short foot chase. 

The investigation led to Antonio Worthy, Mareo Royster and a 15-year-old teen facing robbery charges.
