Below Average Temperatures to Close the Week
After a beautiful day there is a nice evening on tap. Only a very slim isolated rain chance both Thursday evening and through the day Friday as a weak disturbance swings across the Carolinas. Overnight lows will bottom out in the low 50s for most across the Piedmont under partly cloudy skies. In wake of a cold front, increasing winds and low relative humidity will lead to an increased fire danger Friday afternoon and evening. Though vegetation and brush is fairly moist from recent rain, outdoor burning is not recommended. Highs near 70Β° on Friday, low 70s on Saturday and back to the low to mid 80s for Mother’s Day on Sunday.
Tonight: Isolated shower. Partly cloud. Low: 53. Wind: W 5-10.
Friday: Mostly sunny. High: 70. Wind: W/NW 10-20.
Have a great day!
Kaitlin
