Wilson’s World: Talking Water Safety at Keith Family YMCA

CHARLOTTE, NC —  May is Water Safety Month! Today Wilson’s World was at the Keith Family YMCA sharing the importance of water safety and that the YMCA of Greater Charlotte is hiring 200 Lifeguards. Kids have missed an entire year of swim lessons and drowning rates are showing the effects of that. Ame Guy with YMCA Charlotte shared how swim lessons are an important way to keep children safe around water.

YMCA Charlotte has 200 Lifeguard positions open for their summer camps and area pools. Training is free, you must be at least16 years of age, and able to pass the lifeguard water test.
