MORGANTON, N.C. — Deputies say a man who has been charged with indecent exposure more than 10 times since 2019 has been arrested for exposing himself to childcare workers at a church in Morganton.
Deputies were called to the Morganton 1st Church of God off Summer’s Road on May 5th after a man allegedly exposed himself to two women who were working at the childcare facility at the church. An investigation determined that 22-year-old Tristan Coffey was the suspect in the case, according to a news release.
Coffey turned himself into the Caldwell County Jail on May 7th. He was served with four outstanding misdemeanor indecent exposure charges and felony indecent exposure charges from the incident at the church, according to a news release.
Detectives say they are investigating Coffey for other possible indecent exposure cases in the Burke and surrounding counties.
