Edge: North Carolina Mask Mandate Lifted
Will you still wear a mask for the time being?
Effective immediately the North Carolina will no longer require you to wear a mask or to socially distant. Governor Roy Cooper made the announcement today and it comes about six weeks shy of a year behind face coverings. Cooper says however there will still be a mask mandate on public transportation, in schools, and certain health settings. Governor Cooper says although it’s a big step, we still need to do our part and continue to get vaccinated.
