BOONE, NC – A Freeze Warning only intensifies concerns for hazardous road conditions and additional power outages. The NCDOT has 22 trucks spreading salt in Watagua County. They’ll be working through the night to treat roads as needed.
Though snow has been falling for hours, roads remained wet throughout most of the day Saturday. Conditions were just right for people looking to get an early taste of Winter.
The other concern for Saturday night into Sunday morning will be power outages, because of possible high winds.
