Sunny skies return to the forecast today as highs reach the low 80s. This will start our warming trend that will eventually lead to a heat wave. Yup, that’s right. A heatwave in May. High pressure continues to build as we settle into a stagnant and dry pattern through next week. Highs will reach the upper 80s by the end of the week. This weekend will bring back the 90s for the first time since early September. They are going to be sticking around through next week with even the mid-90s by Monday. Hot and feeling tropical with dew points back in the upper 60s it will feel more like 100 by the early part of next week. Get ready to crank those ACs.
