CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Health officials say due to ongoing demand at Bojangles Coliseum, StarMed will continue to offer drive-thru COVID-19 vaccinations through the end of June.
Officials say the clinic is open for appointments and walk-ins during the times below:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Bojangles Coliseum clinic will be closed May 26th and June 1st through June 5th, according to a news release.
Officials say anyone who gets their first dose of the COVID vaccine at Bojangles Coliseum will continue to receive information from StarMed about where to get their second dose, even after the clinic closes.
βWe are proud of the role that Bojangles has had in the Countyβs COVID-19 vaccine response and continue to support StarMedβs efforts to equitably deliver vaccine in the County,β said Dr. Meg Sullivan, Medical Director, Mecklenburg County Public Health (MCPH).
MCPH officials say they are offering COVID-19 vaccinations at its northwest and southeast locations, and anyone looking to schedule their appointment can call 704-336-6400 or visit www.MeckNC.gov/COVID-19.
