SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) β Jean Segura had three hits and three RBIs, and the Milwaukee Brewers scored seven times in the fifth inning on their way to a 12-0 win Tuesday night over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Scooter Gennett had two hits and two RBIs for the Brewers, while Adam Lind and Elian Herrera each added two hits and an RBI.
Michael Blazek pitched four impressive innings, striking out four and walking two in his first start of the spring. He’d been used in relief in his four previous outings.
Diamondbacks starter Yoan Lopez allowed the first five runs on five hits in three innings. But reliever A.J. Schugel was roughed up for five runs on four hits and two walks in his lone inning of work.
