
CHARLOTTE,NC– Ebola survivor Kent Brantly and Franklin Graham helped send off an Ebola relief plane transporting critically needed supplies to West Africa.
Wednesday morning Samaritan’s Purse Doctor and Ebola survivor Kent Brantly joined Franklin Graham at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport Gate 40.
The two were aiding the departure of 90 tons of desperately needed supplies including, suits, gloves, masks and boots to help protect workers in the Community Care Centers, it was the second airlift of supplies going to the West Africa region with the first delivering 100 tons of needed supplies.
Samaritan’s Purse is planning to expand its community-based care programs by building up to 15 more care centers in rural Liberia.
Their goal is to better equip and care for Ebola patients, by training people to care of loved ones at home.
