Thursday at noon, former mayor, convicted felon, and all-around guy who just doesn’t seem to get it Patrick Cannon goes back to court. This time, because he broke the terms of his bond, by breaking the law, by casting a vote, after losing his right to vote when he was convicted on a federal corruption charge. That takes some kind of nerve.
You might explain it away as a simple mistake, but this is coming from a guy who admitted to taking bribes because he never thought he’d get caught. And don’t forget about the way he acted after he took a plea deal. Remember that selfie he posted on Facebook? He didn’t add a caption, but it didn’t look like he was sweating anything.
