GASTONIA, N.C. — Police say a motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a car in Gastonia Saturday afternoon.
The motorcycle driver, 53-year-old Terry Buchanan, was taken to CaroMont Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to a news release.
Officers say they responded to the collision around 4 p.m. on Interstate 85 near Exit 17.
Police say the driver of the car, 29-year-old Jaisa Hayes, was not injured.
The investigation into this case remains active and ongoing.
