Elsa impacts to begin on Thursday across the WCCB area

It’ll be a mild night with overnight lows near 70 under partly cloudy skies. We can expect isolated showers on Wednesday with high temperatures topping out near 90Β°. Moisture increases on Thursday as Elsa tracks across the southeastern United States. The WCCB area can expect scattered to numerous showers on Thursday as a Tropical Depression passes to our east. Our rain totals will range from 0.5” – 2”+. Locations east of I-85 will likely pick up 1-2” with 2”+ possible around and along I-95. A typical summertime pattern builds back in to close out the week.
