Summertime Pattern to Close Out the Week
Tropical Storm Elsa is moving quickly to the northeast and pulling away from the WCCB Charlotte area. Maximum sustained winds are still at 45 mph as of 3 pm. Heavy rain is now tracking into the Mid Atlantic ahead of tracking through the Northeast.
Isolated showers are still in the forecast through the evening across the Carolinas with a typical summertime pattern through the weekend. Expect high temperatures to top out near 90 degrees Friday and through the weekend with scattered showers and storms.
