Some very cool stuff on the way from Google: the company has consumer robots on the way, called “Schaft”. It’s too early to tell exactly when they’ll go on sale, but this video seems to show a fairly complete model. Maybe not as human-looking as you’d like, but it’s early in the game. And they can do all kinds of tasks that you probably don’t want to do.
So once you get your robot, what’s the first thing you’ll tell it to do?
