Lightning Strike is Suspected Cause of Ballantyne House Fire
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A lightning strike is the suspected cause of a three-alarm house fire in South Charlotte. It happened on Saturday afternoon in the Ballantyne area.
It took 60 firefighters more than an hour to put out the flames at a three-story home on Rudolph Dadey Drive, near Ney Manor Way.
Firefighters say no injuries were reported, and the fire remains under investigation.
