STANLEY, N.C. — The man charged in a dirt collapse that killed two children has been arrested again.
Thirty-two-year-old Jordan Arwood is accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend. A warrant says Arwood unlawfully contacted 17-year-old Kurstie Goins via text messaging and phone calls.
He is also accused of going to East Lincoln High School to ask about her attendance. He is facing a misdemeanor stalking charge.
Arwood was charged with involuntary manslaughter after a dirt wall collapsed while his daughter and nephew were playing at a construction area behind his home.
Both of the children were trapped under tons of dirt. It took rescue crews 12 hours to recover their bodies.
