Edge On The Clock: NBA Champion J.R. Smith Is Headed Back To School
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The retired two-time NBA champion J.R. Smith is headed back to school. He is enrolling at North Carolina A&T State University to pursue a degree in liberal studies. The news comes nearly 20 years after the retired NBA star committed to the University of North Carolina, before deciding to forgo college basketball and declare for the 2004 NBA draft.
Plus, Jeopardy! is replacing Alex Trebek with not one, but two new hosts. The game show’s executive producer Mike Richards is adding host to his duties when the new season premieres September 13th. Along with Richards, actress and neuroscientist Mayim Bialik will host occasional primetime episodes and spinoff series.
And, according to Complex Magazine, Travis Scott, LeBron James, and Kanye West are among the top three influential figures of youth culture.
