CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Beginning Friday, August 13th masks will be required in all city government buildings in Charlotte regardless of vaccination status.
City employees, contractors, members of the public, and members of the media will be required to wear a mask while inside these buildings including the Charlotte Mecklenburg Government Center.
Officials say the Charlotte Mecklenburg Government Center will remain closed to the public except for public meetings held by the Charlotte City Council, Mecklenburg County Board of County Commissioners, and CMS.
