UPDATE: Police have arrested the fourth suspect in the killing of council member Odell Williams. Β Derrick Dixon was arrested Monday. Β He has been charged with accessory in the murder.
CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — Police arrested a teenager for the murder of a Chester County councilman.Β
Officials say 18-year-old Christopher Moore shot and killed Odell Williams, 70, with an assault rifle while he was inside his truck on Roundtree Circle. Β Quinton McClinton, 25, has been charged with accessory to a felony. Β
Chester County Sheriff Alex Underwood says the suspects are known gang members of the Round Tree Circle Gang. Β Underwood says his office has been receiving threats from members of the gang as they investigate the murder. Β
Police are still searching for Derrick Dixon. Β DeAngelo Roseboro was arrested Friday afternoon for his involvement in the murder.Β
Anyone with information on Dixon or Roseboro’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
