Edge on Demand: Should Businesses Be Able to Turn People Away Based on Religion?

Local businesses could soon deny service on the basis of the owner’s religious beliefs. We’re seeing more fallout from the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, with some saying it’s really a way to discriminate against the LGBT community.
Governor Pat McCrory says the bill’s not necessary, and he wouldn’t sign it into law. “I think some of the items in the so-called Religious Freedom Bill also make no sense and I’ve stated that for the record,” he said.
