March Madness? More like March Sadness! With all the money the NCAA tournament is raking in, college basketball players are still making nothing but net. Is it time we start paying these guys
The end of 2015’s NCAA basketball tournament is nearly upon us. The Final Four will see Kentucky, Michigan State, Duke, and Wisconsin throw down to determine which basketball teams will make it to the final and ultimately take home the win. But other than the win, the players aren’t taking home anything.
According to Forbes, CBS and Turner broadcasting will make more than $1 billion off the games. The NCAA as a whole: $6 billion a year. But the players themselves don’t see any of that money.
And that brings us to our Question of the Night: Should NCAA athletes be paid?
