Rain Moves Out, Cooler & Drier Air Moves In
Humidity levels will take a dive over the next few days, setting us up for what should be an amazing start to September.
Bring out the pumpkin spice! The official start to meteorological fall is today, and we’ve been greeted by below-average temperatures to kick off September. While clouds and rain continue to put a damper over the Carolinas as the remnants of former Hurricane Ida move out, expect welcome changes to the forecast heading into the back half of the week. A very cool and stable air mass will settle in from the north, setting us up for what should be an amazing start to September.
Sunny skies and comfy highs in the 70s and 80s will set up shop across the area over the next three days, as humidity levels take a dive. Do yourself a favor and get outside; this will be some of the best weather we’ve seen since early June. The sunshine will continue into next week, but temperatures and humidity levels will climb back into uncomfortable levels by then.
