CHARLOTTE, NC — The NFL has dropped its lawsuit against the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office.  The league sued to get access to evidence in the Greg Hardy domestic violence case.  WCCB Charlotte first told you last week that both sides worked out a deal.

As part of the deal, the DA’s office let the league look at seven photos used as evidence in Hardy’s bench trial.  The NFL sued to get access to the photos, which show injuries to the former Panther’s ex-girlfriend, Nicole Holder.

The NFL is trying to determine whether to punish Hardy for violating its personal conduct policy.  The Dallas Cowboys signed Hardy last month.
