CHARLOTTE, NC — The NFL has dropped its lawsuit against the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office. Β The league sued to get access to evidence in the Greg Hardy domestic violence case. Β WCCB Charlotte first told you last week that both sides worked out a deal.

As part of the deal, the DA’s office let the league look at seven photos used as evidence in Hardy’s bench trial. Β The NFL sued to get access to the photos, which show injuries to the former Panther’s ex-girlfriend, Nicole Holder. Β

The NFL is trying to determine whether to punish Hardy for violating its personal conduct policy. Β The Dallas Cowboys signed Hardy last month.
