Rain and storms continuing through the afternoon

*Charlotte has had 1.83" of rain making this the biggest rain event since August 2025 (8 months)* Keep the umbrella close by today as it's a soggy setup throughΒ mid afternoon. Rain chances stay high all day, and we could even mix in a few rumbles of thunder at times. With clouds locked in and rain-cooled air in place, temperatures won’t move much, topping out in the low to mid 70s at best.
