Chris Gilmore is an award winning journalist joining the Rising Team, from the Sunshine State. A proud graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in journalism, his news career has taken him to many parts of the country including Oklahoma and most recently South Florida.

Over his decade and a half of industry experience he has covered everything from severe weather to hot button issues like immigration, water quality and the cost of living.

An admitted foodie, when not storytelling and delivering you the news you need, you can likely catch him exploring restaurants, breweries, or concert halls with his wife and friends.
