NCDHHS: Childhood vaccines and mental health

Francisco Guzman with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services joined this morning’s Rising to highlight two important pieces of back-to-school preparation: childhood vaccines and mental health, and what parents should know going into the new school year.

CMS Superintendent will return to district after investigation

Charlotte Mecklenburg School Superintendent Dr. Crystal Hill will return to the district August 12th. The CMS Board of Education placed Dr. Hill on paid leave back in June to complete an investigation into matters regarding administrative and operational oversight.
