A Chilly, Wet Overnight Before a Clear and Cool Halloween Weekend

By early Thursday, the rain finally moves out, and we’ll begin to see the first signs of clearing. Morning clouds will gradually break apart through the day, and by afternoon, some sunshine should peek through. Temperatures will rebound slightly, reaching the low to mid-60s, which will feel much more pleasant after Wednesday’s chill.

NCDOT Treating Roads Ahead of Winter Weather

We are tracking a winter storm that will bring snow to the Charlotte area by the end of the week. That storm is out West right now and will make a nearly 2,600 mile journey across the country over the next 48 hours. Road crews will be out early Thursday treating local roads.

EF1 Tornado Confirmed in SW CLT

It ripped shingles off rooftops, siding off homes, and toppled massive trees. Clean-up continues as people assess how their homes, churches and businesses were damaged.
