CABARRUS,NC–An appeals court has once again put the brakes on Bruton Smith’s lawsuit against Cabarrus County.
The Speedway owner says the county promised him $80 million for infrastructure improvements and for building the Z-Max Dragway.
The state appeals court upheld a lower “court” ruling that found Smith and Cabarrus county did not have a formal contract.
