CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Students at South Mecklenburg High School were working hard this morning when Wilson stopped by to lend a “helping hand.”  The students and staff along with volunteers from the community were at the school today to restore an old greenhouse that is located behind the school.  “Project Greenhouse” will be used as a real-life learning tool, teaching students everything from engineering know how to business management.  The items grown in the green house will go back into the school and the community.

Wilson talked with kids and volunteers about the project, the importance of recycling while re-building and how the event is a part of the Green Apple Day of Service which will be held Friday and Saturday, September 27th and 28th.
