GASTONIA, N.C. — A Gastonia man pleaded guilty in the dismemberment death of his roommate. Brian Hord will spend the rest of his life in prison.
He is accused of murdering Richard Gentry in August on Little Avenue. Officials say Hord tried to dismember Gentry in an attempt to hide his body.
