Two Arrested For Shooting Witness To Robbery In Southeast Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police arrested two people for a shooting and robbery in southeast Charlotte.  Investigators say Abner Hintzen and Michael Patrick shot a man that witnessed them rob someone on Lodge South Circle in the Steele Creek area. 

The witness was shot in the back after trying to run from the area.  He is now paralyzed as a result of the shooting. 

Both suspects have been charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery, armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill.
