He pointed out the beliefs and people that have helped him to strive to be the best he can be every day. And he’s alwasys chasing after his hero.
McConaughey won Best Actor for his performance in The Dallas Buyers Club. The Oscar is meant to honor his performance, but he pushed the spotlight off to his director, co-stars, family, wife, and kids.
But one of the most memorable moments of the speech cam when he gave some insight into how he’s grown as an actor. He told a story about someone in his past who had asked who his hero was.
