The first 100 days is always a milestone. A time to look back a accomplishments made while change was still in the air. When Morgan Fogarty sat down with Mayor Cannon today, he boasted of job creation, progress on transportation projects, and fighting homelessnes. But instead of rating his job himself, Mayor Cannon challenged the people to grade him.
So we asked you guys to do just that on Facebook. It wasn’t pretty. Cannon pulled in a D, and that’s after we graded on a curve. Of course, our poll was totally unscientific, and Facebook does bring out all the cranks and trolls out there. …But still.
Of course, part of the problem could just be perception. Mayor Cannon isn’t out there in front of the cameras as much as Mayors Foxx or McCrory were. And our Man on the Edge, Robert Wilder, actually had a tough time finding people to ask about him…
