AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Bubba Watson shot a 4-under 68 that included five straight birdies to take the clubhouse lead in the second round of the Masters. The 2012 champ is 7-under par, which is good for a four-shot lead over Denmark’s Thomas Bjorn who also shot a 68.

MIAMI (AP) — Miami will be without Dwyane Wade for tonight’s showdown with Indiana for the Eastern Conference lead, as the star guard continues to be hobbled by a hamstring problem. It will be the ninth straight game Wade has missed as he works his way back from the injury.

CLEVELAND (AP) — Cleveland Pro Bowl center Alex Mack signed an offer sheet with Jacksonville that the Browns are expected to match within the five days they are allotted. Based on reports, it’s a five-year, $42 million offer. Mack has played 4,998 consecutive snaps since he was drafted by Cleveland in 2009.

TORONTO (AP) — Brendan Shanahan is leaving his job as the NHL’s director of player safety to become the Toronto Maple Leafs’ president. The Toronto native and Hockey Hall of Famer starts his new job immediately. Toronto has missed the playoffs for the eighth time in nine seasons after a late season swoon saw them lose 10 of 12 games.

ATLANTA (AP) — The Atlanta Hawks say six-time NBA All-Star Lou Hudson has died at 69, after suffering a stroke last month. Hudson starred for the franchise in St. Louis and Atlanta, averaging 20.2 points in 13 NBA seasons.
