CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Police say a domestic situation ended with a woman being stabbed to death in Cabarrus County.Β
Someone called 911 just after 7 a.m. on Wednesday saying a woman had been stabbed on Sapp Road in Rockwell.Β
Once officers arrived on the scene, they found 63-year-old Gwendalyn Reid deceased.Β
Investigators immediately started looking for the suspect, Ashley Seymour.Β He was found near the scene of the murder.Β
Police say Seymour and Reid were related.Β Seymour has been charged with murder.Β
