Β CHARLOTTE, NC — Cam Newton is drew a star-studded crowd in Plaza Midwood Friday night. Β The quarterback’s foundation teamed up with Levine Children’s Hospital to hold the Kids Rock! Gala at Charlotte Country Club. Β The inaugural event raised money for youth education, physical fitness, and education.
“Our motto is ‘Everyone Matters’, and we want to make an impact in our community,” said Newton. Β “Charlotte is a home to me. Β I take pride in making a big impact and putting by brand on display.”
About 400 guests had dinner and watched Aloe Blacc take center stage with his band.
