CHARLOTTE, NC — Cam Newton is drew a star-studded crowd in Plaza Midwood Friday night. The quarterback’s foundation teamed up with Levine Children’s Hospital to hold the Kids Rock! Gala at Charlotte Country Club. The inaugural event raised money for youth education, physical fitness, and education.
“Our motto is ‘Everyone Matters’, and we want to make an impact in our community,” said Newton. “Charlotte is a home to me. I take pride in making a big impact and putting by brand on display.”
About 400 guests had dinner and watched Aloe Blacc take center stage with his band.
