CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are searching for a missing elderly man in northeast Charlotte. Armando Alvarez was reported missing Wednsday.
Alvarez was last seen at his residence on Dunn Commons Parkway at 7:40 p.m. He has dementia and maybe in the area of Brookshire Boulevard.
Police say he was reportedly seen in the area of Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road and Northlake Central Parkway. Detectives are currently searching that area on ATVs.
Alvarez is an 80-year-old black male with grey hair and brown eyes. He weighs 186 pounds and is 5’7″. He was last seen wearing a brown striped shirt and gray colored pants.
Anyone who has seen or has information on Alvarez is asked to call 911 immediately.
