Domino’s Charges a Teenager More than $300,000 for Pizza

NEWPORT, ENGLAND — Domino’s Pizza accidentally charges a teenager more than $300,000 for pizza.

A high schooler, Nathaniel Bolwell, found himself hungry late one night and ordered food from Domino’s Pizza. He ordered a large pizza, some drinks, and a couple of sides.

Orders usually cost about $30, but the teenager’s debit card came back as overdrawn when he tried to use it.

Bolwell called the bank and found out that his account was overdrawn to the tune of 178,000 pounds or roughly $300,000 in American Dollars.

The cashier at Domino’s accidentally tacked on his four digital bank authorization code onto the price of his purchase and they failed to notice the mistake. Bolwell’s extreme overdraft charges were corrected since the bank and restaurant realized the error.
