CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson enjoys his Wilson’s World segments on Rising every day, but today was really special when he visited Hope Haven and enjoyed a little “Christmas in July” thanks to the good folks at IKEA Charlotte.
Hope Haven has proved to be a haven for those families in need and looking for a foundtion to build on for recovery of homelessness or chemical dependency. Hope Haven has been a part of the community for over 30 years successfully helping to keep families together.
Wilson talked with some of the past residents as well as workers at Hope Haven about their experience and how much the facility means to them.
When Hope Haven sent out a call for items for their in-house restaurant, IKEA Charlotte stepped up with donations. And with the help of Santa, it was a Christmas in July. Hope Haven is only one of the many organizations that have been helped by IKEA. Check out IKEA Charlotte’s website HERE to find out more about their community participation.
Special thanks to Morris Costumes for helping out Santa’s helpers!
