Β LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — Coley Craft, 43 of Cherryville, was arrested Thursday morning after stealing a motorcycle from a Cherryville Walmart and leading police on a chase.
Deputy Counts was driving behind Crafty when he noticed him crossing the center line on Hull’s Grove Church Road. Craft ran a stop sign and pulled into a parking lot on Reep’s Grove CHurch Road before running off.
Deputy counts found Craft nearby. Craft was charged with felony operating a motor vehicle while attempting to elude law enforcement, felony possession of stolen goods and felony larceny of a motor vehicle.
Craft was also charged with driving while impaired, driving while license revoked, reckless driving to endanger and resist, delay and obstruct a public offiver.
Craft is at the Lincoln County Detention Center under a $30,000 secured bond.
