MINNEAPOLIS (AP) β€” Authorities in Texas issued an arrest warrant for Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson, who’s been indicted in Texas on a charge of child abuse after using a branch to spank his son. The Vikings immediately benched Peterson, who has rushed for more than 10,190 yards and 86 TDs in his career, for Sunday’s game against New England.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP)β€” Eighth-ranked Baylor raced out to a 35-0 lead and steamrolled Buffalo 63-21 to improve to 3-0. Bryce Petty threw four touchdown passes, completing 23 of 34 for 416 yards in three quarters of action.
