CHARLOTTE, N.C. –Β The season may be over for the Charlotte Knights, but BB&T Ballpark has one last game to hit the diamond this week.Β Wilson was at the ballpark to check out Tuesday’s Gildan Triple-A Baseball National Championship game.Β The game pits the Pawtucket PawSox against the Omaha Storm Chasers.
Wilson was joined by Scotty Brown and Tommy Viola of the Knights organization as well as Randy Mobley, the International League President to talk about tomorrow’s game and also the upcoming Charlotte Beerfest at BB&T Ballpark this Saturday.Β Homer even pitched in to help calm Wilson down by taking away his coffee.
Gates at BB&T Ballpark open up at 5:30pm for the game with first pitch at 7:07pm.Β Attendees can enjoy beer and soda specials as well as a spectacular post-game fireworks displays.Β Tickets are still available for the game.Β Ticket and game info click HERE.
On Saturday, September 20th, the ballpark will host the Charlotte Beerfest from 5pm until 9pm. the Beerfest will showcase craft beers from international, national and local breweries as well as some great music with Blues Traveler wrapping up the event.
